From San Francisco / South Bay via Bay Bridge:

Head East on 80 follow signs toward Berkeley / Sacramento and take the very first exit Powell Street/ Emeryvillle right after you see "Ikea". Take a right onto Powell, cross Christie and travel on Powell to the next big crossing at Hollis. Here at the stoplight you get in the left hand lane and turn left onto Hollis and continue about 8 Blocks on Hollis until 65th Street. (Left corner you see "Starbucks" ) turn right on Hollis and the next stop sign is Vallejo. Take a right and you will see four houses on your left hand side. My studio is on the right hand corner the tallest one. Take a left on Peabody Lane and park. The entrance to the garden is left to the garage.

From Marin County via San Rafael Bridge:

Head south on 80 and take the Ashby exit. Here you take a left under the train tracks and when you come to the big crossing Ashby/7th (to left) and Hollis (no sign) (to right). Take a right around Ashby Lumber Company stay right and in a big swoop you will enter Emeryville. Here you go until 65th Street(big traffig light) get in the left hand lane and turn left onto 65th Street. Continue one huge block to Vallejo and at the next stop sign turn right onto Vallejo. From Peninsula via 880:

Take the Emeryville direction and exit on Shellmount/Ashby exit; stay to your right. At the bottom of the exit ramp take a right and in about two blocks you get to 65th Street. take a left over the train tracks and go one block to Hollis. You will see "Starbucks" to your right. Cross the street, continue on 65th and after one more block you are at the next stop sign. Take a right and you will see four houses on your left. The studio is the very right hand one, the tallest.
